  • The SWA SP4EU 4.8mm Coloured Heat Shrink Sleeving Pack is a flexible flame retardant 2:1 shrink ratio heat shrinkable tubing to 2.4mm diameter.
  • It has been designed for a number of applications like insulation, marking purposes, strain relief and mechanical protection and is primarily used for electrical insulation around cables, connectors, joints and terminals however it can also be used to prevent the penetration of dust or water.
  • These corrosion-proofing properties make it useful to use with metal tubes, rods and aerials.
  • The pack includes black, blue, brown, green/yellow and grey heat shrinks.
  • It is constructed from a standard-grade polyolefin heat wrap which is RoHS-compliant and self-extinguishing, and the tubing has the ability to shrink at comparatively low temperatures of 100 degrees Celsius.
  • In addition, its flexible construction provides great insulation properties, can be printed on without adhesive, does not melt and is resistant to cold flow.
  • The 4.8mm SWA SP4EU has operating temperatures between -55 degrees Celsius and +125 degrees Celsius.
  • A total of 15 lengths/tubes (3 of each colour) shrink to 2.4mm with a hot airgun or naked flame.
