  • The PowerBreaker PBR80A 30mA 6kA Double Pole 80A Type A RCCB is a residual current circuit breaker that is DIN rail mountable.
  • The RCCB is a current protection system as it monitors then disconnects the circuit whenever a current leak to the earth wire is detected as well as protecting users from potential electric shocks and electrocutions from direct contact.
  • It has 2 poles, a 30mA trip current type A and short circuit capacity rating of 6kA.
  • The trip current type A detects pulsating DC residual currents and ensures tripping for residual AC currents.
  • It is designed and tested for use with PowerBreaker consumer units.
  • It is advised that a qualified electrician must safely install it, in accordance with BS7671 wiring regulations for electrical installations.
  • The PowerBreaker PBR80A conforms with BS EN 61008 standards.
  • It has an electrical endurance operation of up to 4,000 cycles as well as, a mechanical endurance operation of up to 10,000 times.
  • With an IP20 rating, the PowerBreaker PBR80A is both touchproof and protected from dust ingress and objects greater than 12mm.
  • Dimensions of terminals 1 – 35mm and torque recommended minimum tightening of 2.5Nm.
