  • The PowerBreaker PBPH22 22 Module Dual High Integrity Board with Type 2 SPD is a 22-way single module unit with L (Live), N (Neutral) and earth connections included.
  • It uses an MOV across the Live and Neutral, and a gas exchange tube across Earth and Neutral to dissipate potential voltage spikes.
  • For optimum protection, the length of the connecting conductors for the SPD, must be kept as short as possible in order to minimize additional voltage drops across the conductors.
  • It is advised that the total length should not exceed a minimum of 0.5m and a maximum of 1.0m.
  • The PowerBreaker PBPH22 comes populated with type 2 SPD protection, 3 neutral bars, 6kA rated short circuit capacity, a detachable spirit level and 4 module blanking plates.
  • It also houses a live busbar, a 32A miniature circuit breaker, and a 2 poled 100A mains switch.
  • The type 2 SPD is the main system for protection for low voltage electrical installations as it protects from over-voltages from switching and indirect lightning strikes.
  • It essential prevents the spread of over-voltages in electrical installations within the dual high integrity unit.
  • The dual high integrity board comes supplied with a DIN rail and can be raised and easily removed for quick installation.
