The PowerBreaker PBO16A 16A 30mA 6kA IP20 Single Pole + Neutral Type B RCBO is a 1 poled and solid neutral residual current breaker with overcurrent designed to provide enhanced protection in the operation of electrical circuits by detecting any residual current and overcurrent faults which would trigger an interruption to the circuit, ensuring utmost user and application protection.

It offers protection for current overloads as well as short circuits from earth leakages.

The PowerBreaker PBO16A essentially combines the overcurrent functions of a miniature circuit breaker with the earth fault functions of a residual current device, ensuring protection for electrical appliances as well as protecting users from electrical shocks or personal injury.

The RCBO helps in detecting any faults such as residual currents and overcurrent’s, and then interrupting the circuit, ensuring complete user and application protection.

It is designed to be used with PowerBreaker consumer units.

The instantaneous tripping type B curve is used for the protection of circuits with equipment that have low surge currents and is perfect for circuit protection as it is designed to trip at fault currents of 3 to 5 times full load current, ideal in residential applications where the load is resistive, e.g., lighting fixtures and domestic applications.

It has an electrical endurance operation of up to 4,000 cycles as well as, a mechanical endurance operation of up to 10,000 times.
