The PowerBreaker PBM63B 63A 6kA IP20 Single Pole Type B MCB is a DIN rail mountable, low voltage 1 pole miniature circuit breaker with breaking capacity, current rating 63A, short circuit 6kA rating and a tripping type B curve.

Its purpose is to protect electrical equipment, users and their property from potential earth leakage, any overload currents, and short circuits by detecting and then interrupting these overcurrent’s or overloads that pass through your consumer unit.

They are most ideal for use with PowerBreaker Consumer Units.

It has a lockable ON or OFF dolly switch which is positioned above the mains switch.

When the operating dolly switch is locked in the ON position, the mains switch will no longer function as an isolator.

The positive contact indication of the contacts opening is only given when the dolly switch is locked in a green OFF position.

The instantaneous tripping type B curve is perfect for circuit protection and is designed to trip at fault currents of 3 to 5 times full load current, most ideal in residential applications where the load is resistive, e.g., lighting fixtures and domestic applications.

It has an electrical endurance operation of up to 4,000 cycles as well as, a mechanical endurance operation of up to 10,000 times.

In addition, it has a finger safety design and an Ingress Protection rating of IP20 which means it is protected against dust ingress and objects over 12mm in size.

The PowerBreaker PBM63B simply clicks onto the DIN rail and can be secured with this mechanism, allowing work to be carried out faster and without worrying about tight spaces.

Complies with BS EN 60898 standards.

Dimensions of terminal capacity 1 – 25mm² and torque 2.0Nm.
