The PowerBreaker PBM50B 50A 6kA IP20 Single Pole Type B MCB is a single pole isolating miniature circuit breaker that operates to detect and interrupt overload and short circuit fault such as potential earth leakage to prevent and protect damage to electrical equipment and possible harm to users and their property.

The MC has a tripping type B curve which means, it will trip between 3 – 5 times full load current.

It has an operating dolly handle which can be locked into ON or OFF position, without affecting the ability of the trip mechanism to operate.

When the operating dolly switch is locked in the ON position, the mains switch will no longer function as an isolator.

The positive contact indication of the contacts opening is only visible when the dolly switch is locked in a green OFF position which shows that the contact gap of 4mm has be achieved.

It has an Ingress Protection rating of IP20 meaning is touch proof and protected against dust ingress of objects greater than 12mm in size, making it ideal for residential and non-residential applications.
