The PowerBreaker PBM40B 40A 6kA IP20 Single Pole Type B MCB is DIN rail mountable miniature circuit breaker that provides potential earth leakage, overload and short circuit protection for electrical equipment, users, and users property.

It is capable of being locked in ON or OFF position due to its lockable dolly switch.

When the operating dolly switch is locked in the ON position, the mains switch will no longer function as an isolator.

The positive contact indication of the contacts opening is only given when the dolly switch is locked in a green OFF position.

It has a breaking capacity, current rating of 40A, short circuit 6kA rating and a tripping type B curve.

The instantaneous tripping type B curve is perfect for circuit protection and is designed to trip at fault currents of 3 to 5 times full load current, most ideal in residential applications where the load is resistive, e.g., lighting fixtures and domestic applications.

It simply clicks onto the DIN rail allowing work to be carried out quicker and enabling you to work without worrying about difficult, tight spaces.

The PowerBreaker PBM40B is ideal for use with any PowerBreaker consumer unit.

In addition, it has a finger safety design and an Ingress Protection rating of IP20 which means it is protected against dust ingress and objects over 12mm in size.
