  • The PowerBreaker PBM06B 6A 6kA IP20 Single Pole Type B MCB is a miniature circuit breaker designed to detect overcurrent’s and short circuits due to both fault and overload currents; once the fault is detected, the highly conductive material used contacts within the MCB, interrupting the circuit with the use of mechanically stored energy within the breaker.
  • The type B curve is ideal for circuit protection and is designed to trip at fault currents of 3 to 5 times lumen-rated instantaneous current, most ideal in residential applications where the load is resistive, e.g., lighting fixtures and domestic applications.
  • It has a lockable ON or OFF dolly switch.
  • The ON & OFF indication tag is positioned above the mains switch.
  • When the operating dolly switch is locked in the ON position, it means the mains switch will no longer function as an isolator.
  • The positive contact indication of the contacts opening is only given when the dolly switch is locked in a green OFF position.
  • The single pole circuit breaker is designed and tested for use with PowerBreaker consumer units and must be installed and tested per BS7671 standards.
  • It has an electrical endurance operation of up to 4,000 cycles as well as, a mechanical endurance operation of up to 10,000 times.
  • It has an IP20 rating meaning, the MCB is touch-proof and protected against dust ingress and objects greater than 12mm in size.
  • Dimensions of 146mm x 50mm x 80mm, terminal capacity 1 to 25mm², terminal torque 2.0NM, installation for DIN rail mounting.
