The MK K2947BSS Albany Plus 13A Double Pole 2 Gang Outboard Switched Plug Socket with White Inserts is a flush mounting, 2 gang, 13A, 250V rated switched plug socket with outboard rockers and white inserts.

It comes fitted with two earth terminals that provide a double-earth facility for installations requiring a high-integrity protective construction as specified within BS 7671:2008 standards.

It also has a double pole switch with a Neutral ‘makes first, breaks last’ feature.

In addition, it has a stylish, raised rounded and curved profile which is ideal for modern and classic interior decor.

For additional electrical safety, the MK K2947BSS has a 3-pin operated ‘child-resistant’ shutter system that inhibits access to the electricity supply unless all three pins are in position.

It also features clearly marked terminals for easy identification with terminals accepting 3 x 2.5mm², 2 x 4mm² or 1 x 6mm² cables.

With an IP2X ingress protection rating, the wiring accessory is protected against 12mm or more, solid foreign object ingress.

It also prevents access to dangerous parts of the appliance, protecting users and the electrical equipment.
