  • The Hager WMSU83 Sollysta 13A Unswitched Fused Spur Connection Unit is made of Urea-formaldehyde with ceramic fine fuse of 13A.
  • As the fused spur connection unit is unswitched, it does not feature a manual button to turn the unit on or off.
  • It is ideal for devices that are typically continuously operating such as fridges/freezers or security lights which do not require users to be able to turn off the current in most circumstances.
  • It has a shallow depth, moulded cable lead-ins, captive and backed-off terminal screws, in-line terminals, wire end stops, double earth connection wiring, and a unique neutral loop terminal.
  • They also have a 3-pin operated shutter mechanism on the sockets which gives them an additional element of safety as it prevents access to live parts unless all 3 pins from a 13-amp plug are in position.
  • The switch and socket are double-poled, with twin earth included as standard.
  • The main switch is suitable for isolation.
  • For ease of installation, all the terminals are clearly marked and upward facing with a capacity of 2 x 6.0mm² conductors.
  • It also has backed-off screws held captive to prevent loss, wired end stops, and clear visible white labelling off a dark grey background.
  • The wall switches are the first to have a neutral loop terminal contained within the application, allowing contractors to complete the loop connection in the switch rather than in the ceiling rose.
  • This also helps reduce cabling and uneasy time spent working at ceiling level.
  • The single screw fast fix cable clamp accommodates up to 1.5mm² flexible cord.
  • It comes supplied with 2 M3.5 x 30mm long fixing screws.
  • With an Ingress Protection rating of IP20, the HAGER WMSU83 is protected from high-pressure powerful water jets from any direction and total dust ingress.
  • It meets BS 1363-4 standards.
  • Dimensions of L 86mm x H 86mm x W 25.2mm and 60.3mm fixing centres.
