  • The Hager WMSS82 Sollysta 13A 2 Gang Double Pole DP Switched Socket is a socket outlet made of Urea-formaldehyde with ceramic fine fuse of 13A.
  • The switched socket is the most commonly used socket in domestic environments as it is safer to use thanks to its need to be switched on or off by some mechanism.
  • This means electrical supply will not be fed to your devices or appliances unless it is switched on and removes the power from the socket when nothing is connected.
  • This helps minimise the risk of electrical fires as well as saving energy when an appliance is not in use.
  • The Hager WMSS82 has a shallow depth, moulded cable lead ins, in-line terminals, wire end stops and a unique neutral loop terminal.
  • It also has a uniquely patented 3 pin operated shutter mechanism for an additional element of safety as it prevents access to live parts unless all 3 pins from a 13-amp plug are in position.
  • The switched socket is double poled, with dual earth included as standard.
  • All the terminals are clearly marked and upward facing with a capacity of 5 x 2.5mm² switched conductors.
  • It also has backed off screws held captive to prevent loss, wired end stops and clear visible white labelling off a dark grey background.
  • It comes supplied with 2 M3.5 x 30mm long fixing screws.
  • With an Ingress Protection rating of IP20, the HAGER WMSS82 is protected from total dust ingress and has enhanced contact protection.
  • It meets BS 1363-2, a.c only and BS7671 standards.
  • Dimensions of L 146mm x H 86mm x W 29.5mm.
