  • The Hager WMSS81 Sollysta 13A 1 Gang Double Pole DP Switched Socket is a double poled -both live and neutral are switched- flush-mounting socket that can be turned on or off by a mechanism that interfaces to a signal source.
  • It is rated at 13 amps which is shared between two outlets as it is double poled.
  • The Hager WMSS81 is the commonly used in domestic environments as it is safer to use thanks to its need to be switched on or off by some mechanism.
  • This means electrical supply will not be fed to your devices or appliances unless it is switched on and removes the power from the socket when nothing is connected.
  • This not only saves energy but minimises the risk of electrical fires.
  • The 1 gang double poled switched socket has a shallow depth profile with moulded cable lead ins, wire end stops, a unique neutral loop terminal, 2 M3.5 x 30mm long fixing screws, and captive and backed off terminal screws.
  • It also has in-line terminals, and all terminals are marked clearing, facing upward for an easy installation process.
  • In addition, it has a uniquely patented 3 pin operated safety shutter mechanism which prevents access to live parts unless all 3 pins from a 13-amp plug are in position.
  • The Hager WMSS81 complies with BS 1362-2 standards and has an IP20 ingress protection rating which protects the switched socket against total dust ingress and ensures enhanced contact protection.
