  • The Hager NCN116A 16A 10kA Type C Single Pole SP MCB is a DIN rail mounted type C curve miniature circuit breaker which detects overcurrent’s and protects electrical circuits from short circuits and overload currents by interrupting the supply, to prevent installation damage.
  • It is an ideal replacement for fuses in low voltage electrical circuits thanks to it improved reliability and sensitivity, and the fact that it can be reset, perfect for commercial, industrial, and domestic applications.
  • It is also designed to ensure control and isolation, whereby the state of isolation is clearly indicated by the mechanical position on the toggle in green.
  • The type C curve is designed to immediately trip at 5 to 10 times the full load rated current, perfect for use in high inductive loads with high switching surges.
  • The Hager NCN116A has 20,000 mechanical operations and an electrical endurance in 4000 cycles, with a 16A rated current and 10kA short circuit rating.
  • In addition, it comes complete with a simple cable entry facility, with built in cable protection, and neutral and earth terminal bars for simple, easy, and fast cabling.
  • Without affecting the trip mechanism’s ability to operate, the operating dolly may be locked in either the ON or OFF position.
  • When the dolly is in the ‘OFF’ position, the contact gap is 4 mm which means the miniature circuit breaker can be used as a single pole isolating switch where appropriate.
  • It complies with BS EN 6098 standards with an IP20 ingress protection rating.
  • The ingress protection rating means the MCB is touchproof and resistant to dust ingress or objects greater than 12mm in size.
