  • The Hager NBN320A 20A 10kA Type B Triple Pole TP MCB is compatible with DIN rail mounting and is a triple poled, 3 module miniature circuit breakers with a type B curve tripping mechanism.
  • It is designed to automatically switch off electrical circuits when overcurrent’s are detected in order to protect the circuits from short circuits and overload currents in electrical distribution systems.
  • It is used in consumer units and distribution boards, preventing installation damage making it perfect for a wide range of applications in domestic, industrial, and commercial installations.
  • It is also designed to ensure control and isolation whereby the isolation state is clearly highlighted by the mechanical position on the green toggle.
  • In addition, it has an electrical endurance in 4000 cycles, and 20,000 mechanical operations, as well as a 20A current rating and 10kA short circuit rating.
  • It also comes supplied with a simple cable entry facility, built in cable protection, and neutral and earth bars for ease of cabling.
  • The type B curve is designed to the trip at fault currents of 3 to 5 times rated current, to provide short term protection against short circuits.
  • For further application protection, the current carrying capacity should always exceed the MCBs current rating.
  • It is commonly used in residential applications with resistive loads e.g., lighting fixtures and domestic appliances with low surge levels.
  • The operating dolly may be locked in either the ON or OFF position, whilst ensuring the trip mechanism’s ability to operate is not affected.
  • The Hager NBN320A meets BS EN 6098 standards and has an IP20 ingress protection rating meaning the circuit breaker is touchproof and resistant to dust ingress or objects greater than 12mm in size.
