  • The Hager ADA160U 10A 30mA 10kA C Curve Type A Single Pole SP RCBO is a type A residual current breaker with overcurrent and a type C tripping curve.
  • It is designed to detect and protect electrical systems from residual and over current faults.
  • This is done by combining the overcurrent detecting functionality of an MCB (miniature circuit breaker) coupled with the earth fault capabilities of an RCCB (residual current circuit breaker).
  • The type C tripping curve trips the electrical system when the current rises to between 5 to 10 times its full load rated current.
  • This makes it particularly handy in commercial/industrial applications where there is a greater chance of higher short circuit currents such as inductive loads and fluorescent lighting.
  • The Hager ADA160U has a 10-amp maximum current rating with an earth leakage current of 30mA for protection against electrical shocks from direct/indirect contact, and a fault current rating of 10kA.
  • It is single poled with a solid neutral RCBO and single module which will only occupy one outgoing way.
  • The RCBO comes complete with a 700mm insulated neutral lead.
  • In addition, it complies with BS EN 61009 standards and has an IP2X protection rating against finger ingress or similar solid objects greater than 12.5mm in size.
  • Dimensions of H 115mm x W 17.8mm x D 70mm.
