  • The Hager ADA116U 16A 30mA 10kA B Curve Type A Single Pole SP RCBO is a compact protection device that protects electrical systems against residual and over current faults by combining the overcurrent functions of an MCB (miniature circuit breaker), with the earth fault capabilities of an RCCB (residual current circuit breaker).
  • In this case, the Hager ADA116U has an earth leakage tripping current rating of 30mA for protection from electrical shocks through direct/indirect contact, and a fault current of 10kA.
  • The Hager ADA116U residual current breaker with over-current (RCBO) is 16A overload current rated, singe poled with a solid neutral, type A residual current, and a type B tripping curve, and is compatible with DIN rail mounting.
  • The type B tripping curve means the MCB will trip between 3 to 5 times the full load current as it ensures tripping for residual AC currents, pulsating and smooth DC currents.
  • As it is a single module RCBO, it will only occupy one outgoing way.
  • The RCBO is ideal for use with Hager three phase commercial distribution boards in light commercial applications such as offices with big fluorescent or LED lighting circuits.
  • The Hager ADA116U comes with a 700mm insulated neutral lead.
  • In addition, it complies with BS EN 61009 standards, and has an IP20 rating which means the RCBO is resistant to dust ingress and objects greater than 12mm in size and is also touchproof.
