  • The Europa SISW633P 230V 63A 2 Pole + E IP67 Weatherproof Switched Interlocked Socket is a blue, easy to install, highly reliable and universally compatible switched interlock socket that is weatherproof.
  • It is 2 poled with earth, and comes equipped with quick turn screws which help reduce the overall installation time.
  • It also features a pad-lockable on and off switch position.
  • It includes 3 x M25 and 1 x M32 cable entries, and 3 x M25 blanking plugs and 1 x M32 cable gland.
  • It is also protected against high pressure water jets, and can even be dropped into a meter deep body of fresh water for up to an hour without damage.
  • The interlocked socket provides frequent connection to the electrical mains rated at higher voltage and current than household plugs and sockets, hence why it is popular within industrial installations such as in construction sites, public entertainment spaces, airports, and the agricultural and chemical industry.
  • It is also designed to provide a safe and frequent connection and disconnection through a mechanical interlock, with a high-quality plastic housing which is resistant to chemical and heavy-duty usage damage.
  • The enclosure is made of high-quality polycarbonate material with an IP67 rating providing complete protection against dust ingress and solid particles over 1mm in size over an extended period of time, and water sprays from every direction.
  • In addition, it is recommended to periodically check terminals have the appropriate tightness as loss terminals can lead to fire hazards and heat damage to cables due to overheating.
