  • The Europa SISH163P 230V 16A 2 Pole + E IP44 Horizontal Interlocked Socket is a compact sized, 3 pin (2 pole and earth) blue interlocked socket for use with a 230V AC supply.
  • It has a 1.5mm to 4mm² cable nominal cross section area, giving it a current rating of 16Amps.
  • The interlocked socket provides frequent connection to the electrical mains rated at higher voltage and current than household plugs and sockets, hence why it is popular within industrial installations such as in construction sites, public entertainment spaces, airports, and the agricultural and chemical industry.
  • It is also designed to provide a safe and frequent connection and disconnection through a mechanical interlock, with a high-quality plastic housing which is resistant to chemical and heavy-duty usage damage.
  • It has a high-quality thermoplastic housing making it shock resistant and self-extinguishing.
  • As it is an interlocked socket, it has interlocking capabilities and a pad-lockable on and off switch which helps ensure a safe operation.
