The Europa ISS633P 230V 63A 2 Pole + E IP44 Industrial Surface Socket is a 2 poled and earth, user friendly socket ideal for industrial installations such as in the agricultural and chemical industry, on construction sites, shipyards, sports complexes and other public entertainment spaces, the food industry, and airports as it is used to provide a secure connection to electrical mains with a higher current and voltage than that of household sockets and plugs.

It essentially provides a way to extend power supply to mains connected tools and other appliances.

It is constructed with a high-quality housing and robust screwless casing made of engineering plastic with high thermal stability and mechanical strength which ensure the long life and reliability of the sockets ongoing performance.

The robust casing and high-quality housing also provide a strong resistance to extreme weather conditions and chemicals, ensuring safe installation and device operation.

The Europa ISS633P comes equipped with open terminals with backed out screws, spring-return lid, PG21 cable entry, a pre-prepared cable clamp, and an open cable gland, ensuring fast and easy wiring.

It has a 10 to 16mm² terminal capacity giving it a current rating of 63Amps, and a 2.0Nm recommended terminal torque.

In addition, the Europa ISS633P is CE certified and made to IEC 60309-2 standards.

With an IP44 rating, the surface socket is protected against dust ingress/ solid particles greater than 1mm in size, and low-pressure water jets from any direction.

It is recommended to regularly check all connections and terminals to ensure correct tightness throughout use, but also prior to the initial electrical installation as loose terminals can have detrimental effects such as overheating of the socket which can result in a fire or heat damage to the cable.
