  • It is 3 poled meaning the in-line socket is earthed with 3 pins, 2 used to transfer current and 1 for personnel protection.
  • It is designed to be surface mounted where it mates with a suitable cable or panel mounted plug.
  • It is extremely easy to install, highly reliable, and suited to even the most extreme conditions.
  • This is aided in part by the high-quality plastic housing made to IEC 60309 standards, and robust casing which ensure the long life and reliability of the sockets ongoing performance.
  • The mains in-line connector socket provides a way to extend power supply to the mains connected tools and other appliances.
  • The Europa IS164N comes with open terminals with backed out screws, a pre-prepared cable clamp, and an open cable gland, ensuring fast and easy wiring.
  • In addition, it has a 1mm to 2.5mm cable nominal cross section terminal area giving it a current rating of 16 Amps.
  • It is also CE approved with an IP44 rating ensuring the product is protected against dust and solid particles over 1mm in size, as well as protection against low velocity water jets from any direction.
