  • The Electrak EG0010 144mm Raised Access Floor Outlet Access Grommet is a cable management floor box accessory used to protect cables running through or across edges by sitting along the edge of a plate and covering the sharp edges to make it smooth.
  • It is a plastic standard floor access grommet that is precision engineered from durable and hard-wearing ABS material.
  • It can be secured onto a plate by pushing down the spring-loaded screws and rotating a quarter turn for a quick fit installation.
  • It features a removable carpet recess and spring-loaded screw fixings.
  • In addition, it can accommodate all cable types or three metal conduits up to 20mm/25mm in diameter without foam.
  • It has a 127mm-144mm diameter cut-out size with a depth of 55mm and a recommended 5”/127mm hole saw blade hole cutter.
  • To install the floor grommet, first, lift the handle and pull to remove the lid.
  • Then, push the grommet into a raise floor tile aperture and push down the spring-loaded screws supplied and rotate it a quarter turn to secure it.
  • Next, drop the cable access insert into the grommet housing opening then slid the lid into lug holes, and then, push down the lid to close the grommet.
  • Overall, the Electrak EG0010 is ideal for use in light traffic areas but not suitable for positioning in walkways or under static loads.
