  • The Eaton EMCS380 Memshield 3 80A 20kA Triple Pole Type C MCB is designed for use in the 250 Amp high load distribution boards only.
  • It is a high performance current limiting device with the ability to disconnect short circuits, generally used in commercial and general applications where there are motor loads involving high switching surges that may cause unwanted operation of type B devices.
  • There is a tin-plated busbar system throughout the range, as well as protection against contact with live parts providing enhanced safety of the range.
  • It also offers reliable, safe and high performance protection of electrical power distribution systems.
  • It is DIN rail mountable and suitable for use with both pin and comb type busbar systems.
  • The EMCS380 is fitted with box clamp terminals suitable for use with cables up to 25mm2.
  • The positive contact indication enables the operating dolly to be locked in either colour coded ON or OFF positioning without affecting the ability of the trip mechanism to operating effectively whilst the box clamp barrier helps to prevent incorrect cable insertion.
  • Nominal current rating of 80A.
  • It is IP20 rated meaning it is touchproof and resistant to dust or objects that are over 12mm in size.
  • The EMCS380 is designed and tested in accordance with IEC 60898 & IEC 60947-2 standards.
  • Dimensions of H 90mm x W 81mm x D 60mm.
