  • The Armeg SSH032 ACCELER8% 32mm Sheet Steel Holesaws purpose is to efficiently drill through mild and sheet steel at speed.
  • It has a drilling speed of 3.4 seconds and is 37% faster than standard hole saws as it features a 0.6mm slim line kerf providing decreased resistance for rapid drilling.
  • The hole saw’s teeth are constructed using innovative high-speed steel HSS reinforced with 8% cobalt for extra durability.
  • The eight teeth per inch allows for smoothness of the cut.
  • Its impact-rated shank for use within impact drivers and flared body depth stop ensures improved safety and easy tool removal.
  • The internal ejection spring automatically ejects the metal disc for hassle-free drilling, making it perfect for drilling through steel trunking, cabinets, enclosures, panels, and steel cladding.
  • The cutting depth is 1.6mm maximum.
  • The Acceler8% can be used in mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium.
  • Overall, Acceler8% is the fastest way to drill sheet steel.
  • Use with Armeg’s cutting compound ECC002 to extend tool life and maintain drill sharpness.
  • It is advised to remove the material “slug” before commencing any subsequent holes.
  • After pilot drill penetration, be careful not to bang the hole saw onto the surface as this could cause damage or break the cutting teeth.
  • If you drill thicker than the recommended material thickness of 1.6mm, it will cause clogging which would lead to premature wear and possible tool breakage.
