  • The Aico EI650RF Optical Smoke Alarm has a high-performance optical chamber which is useful in detecting slow, smouldering fires commonly produced by electrical fires or sofas and may be situated in hallways, landings, living rooms or dining rooms.
  • It is designed with a tamperproof lithium battery back-up system that has a 10-year operational lifespan to last the entire expected lifespan of the unit, preventing inconvenient frequent battery changes.
  • It comes with a memory feature allowing an alarm that has been previously activated to be easily identified.
  • The device is hardwire interconnected allowing you to wirelessly interconnect up to 12 Aico devices with the Aico RadioLINK+.
  • The wireless interconnectivity makes extracting data from your alarm such as event logs and fault reports less demanding and more efficient by minimising installation disruptions such as lifting floorboards or running interconnect cabling.
  • It is only powered when connected to the mounting base to prevent energy waste during storage and before installation.
  • The alarm has a test button feature facilitating sensor, electronics, and horn checks as well as a hush button allowing the alarm to be silenced in the event of a false alarm.
  • Essentially, it is more ideal in areas where smoke alarms may be subjected to false alarms.
  • In addition, an end-of-life battery warning is provided helping to identify when the battery can no longer operate at sufficient capacity.
