An insulating laminate material, Paxolin (sometimes called SRBP) is popular among electricians to use as a low cost, and easy to fit, method of insulating. It’s a strong material, yet easily machined for quick installation, and it’s available in a low moisture absorption variant. Paxolin is available in two grades: P1, which is suitable for low voltage applications in contact with the air; and P3 grade, which is suitable for higher voltage, higher moisture environments.
