Woodscrews are threaded fasteners used to join wood work pieces. They are available in many of the same metals and alloys as other screws. They have a wider-spaced, medium-depth, sharp-pointed screws for non-structural, fastening of wood-to-wood. Wood screws have coarse threads and a non-threaded shank near the head, which allows the screw to pull the wood pieces tightly together. The coarse threads design allows for tighter connections when attaching wood to wood. Woodscrews are made from fully hardened steel and are suitable for use with hand and power screwdrivers, perfect for nylon, plastic, and wood wall plugs.
