They have a tungsten carbide tip with optimised geometry perfect for drilling stone, concrete and for optimum debris removal. The SDS and SDS+ drills use 4 rail (shank end) 10mm diameter drill bits which are ideal for drilling high-strength materials such as concrete, masonry, and bricks and have a more powerful hammer action than standard hammer drills.
