Arbor & Pilot drill bits are designed for use with all fast cut holesaws and most arbors. They are attached to a holesaw with a compatible size and thread so it can be held in a drill. This is because arbors help keep hole saws stable and without the teeth moving as you drill. Arbor & Pilot Bits have a hexagon shank type with set screw in the body which allows for easy replacement of the pilot drill. Pilot drill bits drill the pilot hole in order to guide the hole saw into position.
