PowerBreaker MCBs (miniature circuit breakers) are designed to detect overcurrent’s and short circuits due to both fault and overload currents; once the fault is detected, the highly conductive contacts within the MCB, interrupt the circuit with the use of mechanically stored energy within the breaker. They are designed and tested for use with PowerBreaker consumer units to protect electrical equipment, users and their property from potential earth leakage, any overload currents, and short circuits.
