Consumer Unit Fuses also known as a fuse board or electrical fuse box, distribute electricity from the mains supply to individual circuits around a property. It is where the electricity in your home is controlled and distributed. Consumer unit fuses are responsible for powering all the circuits in your home and are made up from various parts, such as: mains switch, residual current devices (RCD’s), and circuit breakers. They are BS1361 compliant fuses for consumer units.
