5 core SWA cables can be installed several ways; including in duct, clipped directly to a surface, on tray, in a basket or free air. It can also be embedded in concrete or laid direct in ground in free draining soil. Five core SWA cables are used in low-voltage transmissions, and use a three-phase line with one zero line for the power supply.
