Flexible LSF Cables are made with an insulation and sheath from flexible low smoke zero halogen which keeps safety as a top priority in the event of a fire. The flexible cables are made up of 5 plain annealed stranded copper to BS6360.
They are perfect for domestic and office appliances within light fittings, and can be used as indoor general purpose wiring cables primarily in public areas which require a multicore connection.
The cable is made up of PVC compound that has been modified to decrease the amount of gas and smoke that is produced when burning compared to traditional PVC designs. The main uses of flexible LSF cables are for general supply leads for everyday items, pendant lighting, and indoor wiring in space-restricted areas.
