Arctic Cable

Benefits at a glance:

โ€ข Can withstand external temperatures as low as -20 degrees Celsius while maintaining its flexibilitty.
โ€ข It has a wide temperature range of -40 to +70 degrees C making it suitable for outdoor applications.

Arctic cables can be used in the connection of electrical appliances for outdoor industrial installations such portable tools, construction sites transformers and temporary traffic lights. They are made of flexible annealed copper conductors with PVC insulated sheathed flexible cords. They are designed to be used on building sites at 110 volts, where regulations are much more relaxed, as 110v electricity has a dramatically reduced shock risk from its reduced voltage. Arctic cables are generally used for wiring industrial plugs and sockets, with yellow used for 110V and blue used for 240V.
