KNX Cable
KNX cable is a dedicated control cable used in building automation systems that operate on the KNX protocol. It carries low-voltage data and power between smart building devices such as switches, sensors, actuators, and controllers.
Benefits at a glance:
- Widely used in smart homes, commercial buildings, hotels, offices, etc
- One cable for data and power. The bus cable carries communication signals and power for KNX devices, therefore reducing wiring complexity.
- KNX cable is shielded to reduce interference
- KNX cable allows up to 1,000 metres per line (with limits between power supplies and devices) and up to 64 devices per line (without expanders).
