Insulated Terminals

Benefits at a glance:

• Reduces wear and tear of wires at the connection point.
• Brazed seam barrels alongside the quality of the materials and manufacturing process provides consistent crimping performance.
• A more reliable connection for stranded wires

Insulated Terminals (or ferrules) are pre-insulated tinned copper sleeves that are used to join stranded conductive wires to their connections. The bridge they form makes the connection more reliable, while also protecting the wires from wear. It is applied onto a wire and crimped which is then often connected to another terminal or fixing. Insulated terminals are made of polyvinyl chloride insulated with easy and quick entry apertures for quick cable insertion.
