Gland Packs LSF are for use with all types of Single Wire Armour (SWA) cable, providing mechanical cable retention and electrical continuity via armour wire termination. Gland Packs LSF act as a sealing and terminating device to ensure the protection of electrical equipment and enclosures, including the provision of: Environmental protection – by sealing on the outer cable sheath, excluding dust and moisture from the electrical or instrument enclosure. The sheath is ‘Low Smoke & Fume’ (LSF). This means that when burnt, the cable lets off less harmful smoke and fumes allowing people to exit the building safely. It comes with 2x Gland, Steel Locknut, Earth Tag and Shroud. It is a heavy duty design with a simple yet effective four part arrangement.
