A compression gland utilises a polymer sealing element to seal on the inner sheath, outer sheath, or both inner and outer sheaths to protect against water and dust ingress, secure the cable to equipment and in some cases, provide explosion protection in the event of an ignition. It is designed to attach and secure the end of an electric cable and the device it’s connected to, cable glands provide earthing, grounding, insulation, bonding, and strain relief. They can also be used to seal cables which pass through bulkheads of gland plates. The reduction sealing insert is suitable for use with Sprint 20 cable glands. It is temperature/FLAME resistance from -40ΒΊ C to 100ΒΊ C, interm, up to approx 120ΒΊ C. Especially ideal in areas where vibration may be an issue. The integral claw design prevents cables from twisting during installation.
